  • As an artist, Margherita Martinelli draws inspiration from her travels and experiences, especially from the culture and traditional techniques of Japanese painting that she discovered during her time in Tokyo. Her passion for Japan is reflected in the ethereal and delicate quality of her work, which seeks to capture the essence of the natural world through vivid colors, intricate lines, and fluid shapes.

    Margherita's artistic journey began with her studies at the Fine Arts Academy of Brera in Milan, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to explore new horizons in Tokyo, where she deepened her knowledge of traditional Japanese painting techniques and became fascinated by the country's rich cultural heritage.

    Throughout her career, Margherita has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Audience Award Patrizia Barlettani at San Lorenzo Gallery in Milan and being a finalist of the National Award Donato Frisia and Ciaccio Broker Award for Italian young painting at ArtVerona. Her work has been showcased in prestigious venues and art fairs in the United States, including Aaf New York and Market Art & Design Hamptons.

    Margherita's art is currently represented by Zaion Gallery, Ghiggini Gallery, and Palmieri Gallery, where her work is displayed and treated with the utmost care. Her latest installation in Raumen Museum in Shin-Yokoama, Tokyo, for CasaLuca Milan Project, reflects her unique ability to blend traditional techniques with contemporary art forms.
